It’s hard to believe it’s been FIFTY years . . . but if our math is correct, this is indeed the year that marks 50 years since we graduated from dear old TMI (then as now “On our City’s Border, Reared Against the Sky”). So it seems like as good a time as ANY to celebrate . . . and CELEBRATE WE WILL !!
We’re planning a dinner event on Saturday, October 7th at the La Cantera Resort on San Antonio’s Northwest side, not too far from the new campus on Tejas Trail.
Since we haven’t had TOO many reunions thus far . . . having celebrated our 20th in 1993 and our 40th in 2013 . . . we thought it would be great to hold this one at an appropriate venue for the big milestone . . . and La Cantera is indeed an upscale, First-Class Resort property, and a great place to gather, mix, and mingle.
As has become custom, since our class was only 50 people (and some of those now departed), we are opening this up to the 2 or 3 classes on either side of 1973 who wish to attend or sponsor. We are hoping to have from 120 to a maximum of 150 folks at the event, so we will give preference to the 2 or 3 classes on either side of our 1973 class and then open it up beyond if we are falling short.

REUNION ACTIVITIES
Golf at La Cantera - Sat @ 10 AM
Skeet Shoot at Olmos Basin - Sat @ 2 PM
Rick Thompson will be overseeing some optional Saturday events including Golf at La Cantera @ 10 AM ($225 per person) and a Skeet Shoot in Olmos Basin @ 2 PM ($75 per person) with a nearby covered pavilion for the Shooters as well as other non-participants - at No Charge - to gather . . . with some refreshments available.
TMI Campus Tour and Lunch - Sat @ 11:30 AM
Dale Pangman and Pat Garcia are helping to line up some other activities, including a TMI Campus Tour & Lunch on Saturday at 11:30 AM to help expand our opportunities to mix and mingle with our fellow classmates.
TOUR & LUNCH INFORMATION:
It’s been over 50 years. We wanted to provide extra time to socialize with one another; so, for those who want to, this will be a perfect time.
We’ll plan to eat lunch when we get there, and Alex Hernandez from TMI will conduct the tour afterwards.
Where to Meet ??
TMI has been so gracious to provide the Walker Innovation Center for our gathering. The Campus Map is attached in a JPG for your reference. Please take a moment to review the map before you get to TMI. The map shows where the Walker is located as well as available parking. Please note, everyone who comes to campus is required to stop at the Welcome Center to identify themselves. Also, if any of you have physical disabilities, please let us know, so we can plan for your arrival. There are a couple of available Handicap Parking Spots just outside the Walker you can use.

Included in the box lunch will be a Chips, a Cookie, and Tea or Soft Drink.
We ask that you give us your order and pay $25 each no later than Sept 30 . . . so we know how many box lunches to order.
